Genesis 4:15
4:15 But the
Lord said to him, “All right then,
if anyone kills Cain, Cain will be avenged seven times as much.”
Then the
Lord put a special mark
on Cain so that no one who found him would strike him down.
Genesis 15:5

Lord took him outside and said, “Gaze into the sky and count the stars – if you are able to count them!” Then he said to him, “So will your descendants be.”

Genesis 30:16
30:16 When Jacob came in from the fields that evening, Leah went out to meet him and said, “You must sleep
with me because I have paid for your services
with my son’s mandrakes.” So he had marital relations
with her that night.
Genesis 48:20
48:20 So he blessed them that day, saying,

‘May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’”
So he put Ephraim before Manasseh.
