Genesis 5:29-30
5:29 He named him Noah,
saying, “This one will bring us comfort
from our labor and from the painful toil of our hands because of the ground that the
Lord has cursed.”
5:30 Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he had other
sons and daughters.
Genesis 7:15

Genesis 8:11

the dove returned to him in the evening, there was
a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak! Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.

8:20 Noah built an altar to the Lord. He then took some of every kind of clean animal and clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

The Curse of Canaan
9:18 The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Now Ham was the father of Canaan.)
