Hebrews 9:12
9:12 and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured
eternal redemption.
Hebrews 9:14
9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our
consciences from dead works to worship the living God.
Hebrews 9:25
9:25 And he did not enter to offer
himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the sanctuary year after year with blood that is not his own,
Hebrews 9:28
9:28 so also, after Christ was offered once to
bear the sins of many,
to those who eagerly await him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin
but to bring salvation.
Hebrews 10:6-12
10:6 “Whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you took no delight in.
10:7 “Then I said, ‘Here I am: I have come – it is written of me in the scroll of the book – to do your will, O God.’”
10:8 When he says above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you did not desire nor did you take delight in them” (which are offered according to the law),
10:9 then he says, “Here I am: I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first to establish the second.
10:10 By his will we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
10:11 And every priest stands day after day serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again – sacrifices that can never take away sins.
10:12 But when this priest had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand of God,
Isaiah 53:10-12
53:10 Though the Lord desired to crush him and make him ill,
once restitution is made,
he will see descendants and enjoy long life,
and the Lord’s purpose will be accomplished through him.
53:11 Having suffered, he will reflect on his work,
he will be satisfied when he understands what he has done.
“My servant will acquit many,
for he carried their sins.
53:12 So I will assign him a portion with the multitudes,
he will divide the spoils of victory with the powerful,
because he willingly submitted to death
and was numbered with the rebels,
when he lifted up the sin of many
and intervened on behalf of the rebels.”
Romans 6:10
6:10 For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.
