Isaiah 2:6-8
The Lord’s Day of Judgment
2:6 Indeed, O Lord, you have abandoned your people,
the descendants of Jacob.
For diviners from the east are everywhere;
they consult omen readers like the Philistines do.
Plenty of foreigners are around.
2:7 Their land is full of gold and silver;
there is no end to their wealth.
Their land is full of horses;
there is no end to their chariots.
2:8 Their land is full of worthless idols;
they worship the product of their own hands,
what their own fingers have fashioned.
Isaiah 2:18
2:18 The worthless idols will be completely eliminated.
Isaiah 2:20

Isaiah 8:19-20
Darkness Turns to Light as an Ideal King Arrives

8:20 Then you must recall the Lord’s instructions and the prophetic testimony of what would happen. Certainly they say such things because their minds are spiritually darkened.
Isaiah 27:9
27:9 So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven,
and this is how they will show they are finished sinning:
They will make all the stones of the altars
like crushed limestone,
and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.
Zechariah 13:2-4
13:2 And also on that day,” says the
Lord who rules over all, “I will remove
the names of the idols from the land and they will never again be remembered. Moreover, I will remove the prophets and the unclean spirit from the land.
13:3 Then, if anyone prophesies in spite of this, his father and mother to whom he was born will say to him, ‘You cannot live, for you lie in the name of the
Lord.’ Then his father and mother to whom he was born will run him through with a sword when he prophesies.
13:4 “Therefore, on that day each prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies and will no longer wear the hairy garment of a prophet to deceive the people.
Revelation 19:20
19:20 Now
the beast was seized, and along with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalf
– signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
Revelation 22:15
22:15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers
and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!
