Isaiah 43:2
43:2 When you pass through the waters, I am with you;
when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you.

“Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”
Luke 24:38-41
24:38 Then
he said to them, “Why are you frightened,
and why do doubts
arise in your hearts?
24:39 Look at my hands and my feet; it’s me!
Touch me and see; a ghost
does not have flesh and bones like you see I have.”
24:40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
24:41 And while they still could not believe it
(because of their joy) and were amazed,
he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
John 6:19-20
6:19 Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles,
they caught sight of Jesus walking on the lake,
approaching the boat, and they were frightened.
6:20 But he said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.”

Jesus’ Appearance to the Disciples
20:19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the disciples had gathered together and locked the doors of the place because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
20:20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
