Isaiah 43:28

43:28 So I defiled your holy princes,

and handed Jacob over to destruction,

and subjected Israel to humiliating abuse.”

In his anger he tore down

the fortified cities of Daughter Judah.

He knocked to the ground and humiliated

the kingdom and its rulers.

Ezekiel 24:21

Your very own sons and daughters whom you have left behind will die by the sword.
