Isaiah 7:24

7:24 With bow and arrow men will hunt there, for the whole land will be covered with thorns and briers.

Isaiah 13:15

and strength to those who defend the city from attackers.

senseless babbling,

33:8 Highways are empty,

there are no travelers.

Treaties are broken,

witnesses are despised,

human life is treated with disrespect.

34:12 Her nobles will have nothing left to call a kingdom

and all her officials will disappear.

41:27 I first decreed to Zion, ‘Look, here’s what will happen!’

I sent a herald to Jerusalem.

whom I created for my glory,

whom I formed – yes, whom I made!

a ruler and commander of nations.”

Isaiah 57:14

57:14 He says,

“Build it! Build it! Clear a way!

Remove all the obstacles out of the way of my people!”

Isaiah 65:17

65:17 For look, I am ready to create

new heavens and a new earth!

The former ones will not be remembered;

no one will think about them anymore.
