Isaiah 9:6
9:6 For a child has been born to us,
a son has been given to us.
He shoulders responsibility
and is called:
Extraordinary Strategist,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.
Jeremiah 23:5-6
23:5 “I, the Lord, promise that a new time will certainly come
when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David.
He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding
and will do what is just and right in the land.
23:6 Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety
and Israel will live in security.
This is the name he will go by:
‘The Lord has provided us with justice.’
Hosea 12:3-5
Israel Must Return to the God of Jacob
12:3 In the womb he attacked his brother;
in his manly vigor he struggled with God.
12:4 He struggled with an angel and prevailed;
he wept and begged for his favor.
He found God at Bethel,
and there he spoke with him!

Matthew 1:23

but the Father residing in me performs
his miraculous deeds.
14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, but if you do not believe me,
believe because of the miraculous deeds
themselves.
John 14:23
14:23 Jesus replied,
“If anyone loves me, he will obey
my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

will receive from me what is mine

John 17:21-23
