2:1 The Lord’s angelic messenger went up from Gilgal to Bokim. He said, “I brought you up from Egypt and led you into the land I had solemnly promised to give to your ancestors. I said, ‘I will never break my agreement with you,
Judges 20:18
20:18 The Israelites went up to Bethel and asked God, “Who should lead the charge against the Benjaminites?” The Lord said, “Judah should lead.”
Judges 20:23
20:23 The Israelites went up and wept before the
Lord until evening. They asked the
Lord, “Should we
again march out to fight
the Benjaminites, our brothers?”

Lord said, “Attack them!”
Judges 20:26
20:26 So all the Israelites, the whole army, went up to Bethel. They wept and sat there before the Lord; they did not eat anything that day until evening. They offered up burnt sacrifices and tokens of peace to the Lord.
Judges 21:5
21:5 The Israelites asked, “Who from all the Israelite tribes has not assembled before the
Lord?” They had made a solemn oath that whoever did not assemble before the
Lord at Mizpah must certainly be executed.
