Jeremiah 11:18-19
A Plot Against Jeremiah is Revealed and He Complains of Injustice
11:18 The Lord gave me knowledge, that I might have understanding.
Then he showed me what the people were doing.
11:19 Before this I had been like a docile lamb ready to be led to the slaughter.
I did not know they were making plans to kill me.
I did not know they were saying,
“Let’s destroy the tree along with its fruit!
Let’s remove Jeremiah from the world of the living
so people will not even be reminded of him any more.”
Acts 9:24
9:24 but Saul learned of their plot against him.
They were also watching
the city gates
day and night so that they could kill him.
Acts 14:6
14:6 Paul and Barnabas
learned about it
and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra
and Derbe
and the surrounding region.
Acts 23:16-18
23:16 But when the son of Paul’s sister heard about the ambush, he came and entered the barracks and told Paul.
23:17 Paul called one of the centurions and said, “Take this young man to the commanding officer, for he has something to report to him.”
23:18 So the centurion took him and brought him to the commanding officer and said, “The prisoner Paul called me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.”
