Jeremiah 15:2-4
15:2 If they ask you, ‘Where should we go?’ tell them the
Lord says this:
“Those who are destined to die of disease will go to death by disease.
Those who are destined to die in war will go to death in war.
Those who are destined to die of starvation will go to death by starvation.
Those who are destined to go into exile will go into exile.”
15:3 “I will punish them in four different ways: I will have war kill them. I will have dogs drag off their dead bodies. I will have birds and wild beasts devour and destroy their corpses.
15:4 I will make all the people in all the kingdoms of the world horrified at what has happened to them because of what Hezekiah’s son Manasseh, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem.”
Jeremiah 24:10
24:10 I will bring war, starvation, and disease
on them until they are completely destroyed from the land I gave them and their ancestors.’”
Jeremiah 25:27
25:27 Then the Lord said to me, “Tell them that the Lord God of Israel who rules over all says, ‘Drink this cup until you get drunk and vomit. Drink until you fall down and can’t get up. For I will send wars sweeping through you.’
Jeremiah 29:17
29:17 The
Lord who rules over all
says, ‘I will bring war,
starvation, and disease on them. I will treat them like figs that are so rotten
they cannot be eaten.
Jeremiah 44:27
44:27 I will indeed
see to it that disaster, not prosperity, happens to them.
All the people of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will die in war or from starvation until not one of them is left.
Jeremiah 49:36-37
49:36 I will cause enemies to blow through Elam from every direction
like the winds blowing in from the four quarters of heaven.
I will scatter the people of Elam to the four winds.
There will not be any nation where the refugees of Elam will not go.
49:37 I will make the people of Elam terrified of their enemies,
who are seeking to kill them.
I will vent my fierce anger
and bring disaster upon them,” says the Lord.
“I will send armies chasing after them
until I have completely destroyed them.
Ezekiel 5:2
5:2 Burn a third of it in the fire inside the city when the days of your siege are completed. Take a third and slash it with a sword all around the city. Scatter a third to the wind, and I will unleash a sword behind them.
Ezekiel 5:12
5:12 A third of your people will die of plague or be overcome by the famine within you.
A third of your people will fall by the sword surrounding you,
and a third I will scatter to the winds. I will unleash a sword behind them.
Ezekiel 14:17
14:17 “Or suppose I were to bring a sword against that land and say, ‘Let a sword pass through the land,’ and I were to kill both people and animals.
