Jeremiah 17:8
17:8 They will be like a tree planted near a stream
whose roots spread out toward the water.
It has nothing to fear when the heat comes.
Its leaves are always green.
It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought.
It does not stop bearing fruit.
Jeremiah 31:40
31:40 The whole valley where dead bodies and sacrificial ashes are thrown
and all the terraced fields
out to the Kidron Valley
on the east as far north
as the Horse Gate
will be included within this city that is sacred to the
Lord.
The city will never again be torn down or destroyed.”
Jeremiah 37:21
37:21 Then King Zedekiah ordered that Jeremiah be committed to the courtyard of the guardhouse. He also ordered that a loaf of bread
be given to him every day from the baker’s street until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah was kept
in the courtyard of the guardhouse.
