To this day his descendants have drunk no wine because they have obeyed what their ancestor commanded them. But I

but Israel does not recognize me,
my people do not understand.”

The Sacrilege of Priestly Service
1:6 “A son naturally honors his father and a slave respects his master. If I am your father, where is my honor? If I am your master, where is my respect? The Lord who rules over all asks you this, you priests who make light of my name! But you reply, ‘How have we made light of your name?’

11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
11:29 Take my yoke

11:30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.”

Luke 15:28-30
15:28 But the older son
became angry
and refused
to go in. His father came out and appealed to him,
15:29 but he answered
his father, ‘Look! These many years I have worked like a slave
for you, and I never disobeyed your commands. Yet
you never gave me even a goat
so that I could celebrate with my friends!
15:30 But when this son of yours
came back, who has devoured
your assets with prostitutes,
you killed the fattened calf
for him!’
