John 1:12

1:12 But to all who have received him – those who believe in his name – he has given the right to become God’s children

Romans 8:14-17

8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” 8:16 The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. 8:17 And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.

Romans 9:26

9:26And in the very place where it was said to them,You are not my people,

there they will be calledsons of the living God.’”

Romans 9:2

9:2 I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

Colossians 1:18

1:18 He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.

Galatians 4:6-7

4:6 And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, who callsAbba! Father!” 4:7 So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God.

Galatians 4:1

4:1 Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything.

Galatians 3:1-2

Justification by Law or by Faith?

3:1 You foolish Galatians! Who has cast a spell on you? Before your eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed as crucified! 3:2 The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard?
