John 1:17

1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

Numbers 12:2-7

12:2 They said, “Has the Lord only spoken through Moses? Has he not also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard it.

12:3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more so than any man on the face of the earth.)

The Response of the Lord

12:4 The Lord spoke immediately to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam: “The three of you come to the tent of meeting.” So the three of them went. 12:5 And the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the tent; he then called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forward.

12:6 The Lord said, “Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known to him in a vision; I will speak with him in a dream. 12:7 My servant Moses is not like this; he is faithful in all my house.

Numbers 16:28

16:28 Then Moses said, “This is how you will know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will.

Deuteronomy 34:10

34:10 No prophet ever again arose in Israel like Moses, who knew the Lord face to face.

Psalms 103:7

103:7 The Lord revealed his faithful acts to Moses,

his deeds to the Israelites.

Psalms 105:26

105:26 He sent his servant Moses,

and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

106:16 In the camp they resented Moses,

and Aaron, the Lord’s holy priest.

Malachi 4:4

Restoration through the Lord

4:4 “Remember the law of my servant Moses, to whom at Horeb I gave rules and regulations for all Israel to obey.

Acts 7:35

7:35 This same Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge? God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

Hebrews 3:2-5

3:2 who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s house. 3:3 For he has come to deserve greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house deserves greater honor than the house itself! 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. 3:5 Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.
