The Testimony of John the Baptist

1:19 Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

John 1:32

1:32 Then John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending like a dove from heaven, and it remained on him.

John 1:34

1:34 I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.”

John 5:35-39

5:35 He was a lamp that was burning and shining, and you wanted to rejoice greatly for a short time in his light.

John 15:26-27

15:26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – he will testify about me, 15:27 and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

John 19:35

19:35 And the person who saw it has testified (and his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth), so that you also may believe.

John 21:24

A Final Note

21:24 This is the disciple who testifies about these things and has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
