Colossians 1:24-27
1:24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of his body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.
1:25 I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God – given to me for you – in order to complete the word of God,
1:26 that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to his saints.
1:27 God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Philippians 3:13-15
3:13 Brothers and sisters,
I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded:
Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead,
3:14 with this goal in mind,
I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God
in Christ Jesus.
3:15 Therefore let those of us who are “perfect” embrace this point of view.
If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of your ways.
