John 17:9-10
17:9 I am praying
on behalf of them. I am not praying
on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.
17:10 Everything
I have belongs to you,
and everything you have belongs to me,
and I have been glorified by them.
Romans 8:28-30
8:28 And we know that all things work together
for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
8:29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son
would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 11:2
11:2 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew! Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?
Ephesians 1:4-11
1:4 For
he chose us in Christ
before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished
in his sight
in love.
1:5 He did this by predestining
us to adoption as his
sons
through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure
of his will –
1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace
that he has freely bestowed on us in his dearly loved Son.
1:7 In him
we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace
1:8 that he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.
1:9 He did this when he revealed
to us the secret
of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth
in Christ,
1:10 toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up
all things in Christ – the things in heaven
and the things on earth.
1:11 In Christ
we too have been claimed as God’s own possession,
since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will
Ephesians 1:2
1:2 Grace and peace to you
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Ephesians 2:13-14
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For he is our peace, the one who made both groups into one
and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility,
