John 18:4
18:4 Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?”
John 18:7
18:7 Then Jesus
asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”
John 20:15-16
20:15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” Because she thought he was the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him.”
20:16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni” (which means Teacher).
Luke 7:24-27
7:24 When John’s messengers had gone, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
7:25 What did you go out to see? A man dressed in fancy clothes? Look, those who wear fancy clothes and live in luxury are in kings’ courts!
7:26 What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
7:27 This is the one about whom it is written, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’

Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar
to be brought to him. When the man

18:41 “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied,
“Lord, let me see again.”
