Leviticus 1:4-5
1:4 He must lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted for him to make atonement
on his behalf.
1:5 Then the one presenting the offering
must slaughter the bull
before the
Lord, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must present the blood and splash
the blood against the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.
Leviticus 8:15
8:15 and he slaughtered it.
Moses then took the blood and put it all around on the horns of the altar with his finger and decontaminated the altar,
and he poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and so consecrated it to make atonement on it.
Leviticus 9:8
The Sin Offering for the Priests
9:8 So Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the sin offering calf which was for himself.

9:12 He then slaughtered the burnt offering, and his sons handed the blood to him and he splashed it against the altar’s sides.
