Leviticus 1:5
1:5 Then the one presenting the offering
must slaughter the bull
before the
Lord, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must present the blood and splash
the blood against the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.
Leviticus 3:8
3:8 He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash
its blood against the altar’s sides.
Leviticus 4:18
4:18 He must put some of the blood on the horns of the altar
which is before the
Lord in the Meeting Tent, and all the rest of the blood he must pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering that is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.
Leviticus 6:12
6:12 but the fire which is on the altar must be kept burning on it.
It must not be extinguished. So the priest must kindle wood on it morning by morning, and he must arrange the burnt offering on it and offer the fat of the peace offering up in smoke on it.
Leviticus 6:15
6:15 and the priest
must take up with his hand some of the choice wheat flour of the grain offering
and some of its olive oil, and all of the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he must offer its memorial portion
up in smoke on the altar
as a soothing aroma to the
Lord.
Leviticus 8:24
8:24 Next he brought Aaron’s sons forward, and Moses put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on their right thumbs, and on the big toes of their right feet, and Moses splashed the rest of the blood against the altar’s sides.
Leviticus 9:7
9:7 Moses then said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and make your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement on behalf of yourself and on behalf of the people;
and also make the people’s offering and make atonement on behalf of them just as the
Lord has commanded.”
Leviticus 9:18
9:18 Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram – the peace offering sacrifices which were for the people – and Aaron’s sons handed
the blood to him and he splashed it against the altar’s sides.

Leviticus 21:23
21:23 but he must not go into the veil-canopy
or step forward to the altar because he has a physical flaw. Thus
he must not profane my holy places, for I am the
Lord who sanctifies them.’”

22:22 “‘You must not present to the Lord something blind, or with a broken bone, or mutilated, or with a running sore, or with a festering eruption, or with a feverish rash. You must not give any of these as a gift on the altar to the Lord.
