The Day of Atonement
16:1 The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron’s two sons when they approached the presence of the Lord and died,
Leviticus 22:9
22:9 They must keep my charge so that they do not incur sin on account of it
and therefore die
because they profane it. I am the

Numbers 3:3-4
3:3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed
priests, whom he consecrated

3:4 Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests in the presence of Aaron their father.
