4:3 “‘If the high priest sins so that the people are guilty, on account of the sin he has committed he must present a flawless young bull to the Lord for a sin offering.
Leviticus 21:10-12
Rules for the High Priest
21:10 “‘The high priest – who is greater than his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil is poured, who has been ordained to wear the priestly garments – must neither dishevel the hair of his head nor tear his garments.
21:11 He must not go where there is any dead person; he must not defile himself even for his father and his mother.
21:12 He must not go out from the sanctuary and must not profane the sanctuary of his God, because the dedication of the anointing oil of his God is on him. I am the Lord.
Exodus 28:41
28:41 “You are to clothe them – your brother Aaron and his sons with him – and anoint them and ordain them and set them apart as holy, so that they may minister as my priests.
Exodus 29:7
29:7 You are to take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
Exodus 30:30
30:30 “You are to anoint Aaron and his sons and sanctify them, so that they may minister as my priests.
Psalms 133:2
133:2 It is like fine oil poured on the head
which flows down the beard –
Aaron’s beard,
and then flows down his garments.
