1:18 Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.”
Luke 7:39

12:39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief
was coming, he would not have let
his house be broken into.

12:46 then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee, and will cut him in two,
and assign him a place with the unfaithful.

12:48 But the one who did not know his master’s will
and did things worthy of punishment
will receive a light beating.
From everyone who has been given much, much will be required,
and from the one who has been entrusted with much,
even more will be asked.

said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in men’s eyes,
but God knows your hearts. For what is highly prized
among men is utterly detestable
in God’s sight.

he returned after receiving the kingdom, he summoned
these slaves to whom he had given the money. He wanted
to know how much they had earned
by trading.

19:44 They will demolish you
– you and your children within your walls
– and they will not leave within you one stone
on top of another,
because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

20:19 Then
the experts in the law
and the chief priests wanted to arrest
him that very hour, because they realized he had told this parable against them. But
they were afraid of the people.

24:18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him,
“Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who doesn’t know
the things that have happened there
in these days?”
