Luke 1:31-35
1:31 Listen:
You will become pregnant
and give birth to
a son, and you will name him
Jesus.
1:32 He
will be great,
and will be called the Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father
David.
1:33 He
will reign over the house of Jacob
forever, and his kingdom will never end.”
1:34 Mary
said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with
a man?”
1:35 The angel replied,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow
you. Therefore the child
to be born
will be holy;
he will be called the Son of God.
Luke 2:11
2:11 Today
your Savior is born in the city

Isaiah 7:14
7:14 For this reason the sovereign master himself will give you a confirming sign.
Look, this
young woman
is about to conceive
and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him
Immanuel.

and to your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ.
