The Parable of the Rich Landowner

12:13 Then someone from the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

Luke 12:21

12:21 So it is with the one who stores up riches for himself, but is not rich toward God.”

14:33 In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.

Sin, Forgiveness, Faith, and Service

17:1 Jesus said to his disciples, “Stumbling blocks are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

19:16 So the first one came before him and said, ‘Sir, your mina has made ten minas more.’

20:11 So he sent another slave. They beat this one too, treated him outrageously, and sent him away empty-handed.

A Final Discourse

22:21 “But look, the hand of the one who betrays me is with me on the table.

22:29 Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me,

23:12 That very day Herod and Pilate became friends with each other, for prior to this they had been enemies.

24:17 Then he said to them, “What are these matters you are discussing so intently as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking sad.

24:25 So he said to them, “You foolish people – how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
