Luke 4:23

4:23 Jesus said to them, “No doubt you will quote to me the proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ and say, ‘What we have heard that you did in Capernaum, do here in your hometown too.’”

Luke 4:2

4:2 where for forty days he endured temptations from the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, he was famished.

Luke 5:3-6

5:3 He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little way from the shore. Then Jesus sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. 5:4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” 5:5 Simon answered, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing! But at your word I will lower the nets.” 5:6 When they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets started to tear.

Luke 5:11

5:11 So when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed him.

Acts 8:19

8:19 saying, “Give me this power too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”
