‘We played the flute for you, yet you did not dance;
we wailed in mourning, yet you did not weep.’
Luke 8:12
8:12 Those along the path are the ones who have heard; then the devil

from their hearts, so that they may not believe
and be saved.
Luke 8:14
8:14 As for the seed that
fell among thorns, these are the ones who hear, but
as they go on their way they are choked
by the worries and riches and pleasures of life,
and their fruit does not mature.
Luke 11:7
11:7 Then
he will reply
from inside, ‘Do not bother me. The door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed.
I cannot get up and give you anything.’
Luke 16:8
16:8 The
master commended the dishonest
manager because he acted shrewdly.
For the people
