Jesus and Beelzebul
12:22 Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus healed him so that he could speak and see.
Mark 1:34
1:34 So
he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons.
But
he would not permit the demons to speak,
because they knew him.
Mark 5:8
5:8 (For Jesus
had said to him, “Come out of that man, you unclean spirit!”)
Mark 9:25-27
9:25 Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
9:26 It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He is dead!”
9:27 But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up.
Luke 4:35-36
4:35 But
Jesus rebuked him:
“Silence! Come out of him!”
Then, after the demon threw the man
down in their midst, he came out of him without hurting him.
4:36 They
were all amazed and began to say
to one another, “What’s happening here?
For with authority and power
he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
Luke 4:41
4:41 Demons also came out
of many, crying out,
“You are the Son of God!”
But he rebuked
them, and would not allow them to speak,
because they knew that he was the Christ.
Luke 8:29
8:29 For Jesus
had started commanding
the evil
spirit to come out of the man. (For it had seized him many times, so
he would be bound with chains and shackles
and kept under guard. But
he would break the restraints and be driven by the demon into deserted
places.)
Luke 9:42
9:42 As
the boy
was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground
and shook him with convulsions.
But Jesus rebuked
the unclean
spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
Acts 16:18
16:18 She continued to do this for many days. But Paul became greatly annoyed,
and turned
and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ
to come out of her!” And it came out of her at once.
Acts 19:13-15
19:13 But some itinerant
Jewish exorcists tried to invoke the name
of the Lord Jesus over those who were possessed by
evil spirits, saying, “I sternly warn
you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”
19:14 (Now seven sons of a man named
Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were doing this.)
19:15 But the evil spirit replied to them,
“I know about Jesus
and I am acquainted with
Paul, but who are you?”
