15:22 A
Canaanite woman from that area came
and cried out,
“Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!”
Mark 5:22-23
5:22 Then
one of the synagogue rulers,
named Jairus,
came up, and when he saw Jesus,
he fell at his feet.
5:23 He asked him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may be healed and live.”
Mark 9:22
9:22 It has often thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Luke 9:38-42
9:38 Then
a man from the crowd cried out,
“Teacher, I beg you to look at
my son – he is my only child!
9:39 A
spirit seizes him, and he suddenly screams;
it throws him into convulsions
and causes him to foam at the mouth. It hardly ever leaves him alone, torturing
him severely.
9:40 I
begged
your disciples to cast it out, but
they could not do so.”
9:41 Jesus answered,
“You
unbelieving
and perverse generation! How much longer
must I be with you and endure
you?
Bring your son here.”
9:42 As
the boy
was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground
and shook him with convulsions.
But Jesus rebuked
the unclean
spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
