Matthew 17:3-4
17:3 Then Moses
and Elijah
also appeared before them, talking with him.
17:4 So
Peter said
to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, I will make
three shelters
– one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Matthew 11:14
11:14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, who is to come.
Matthew 27:47-49
27:47 When
some of the bystanders heard it, they said, “This man is calling for Elijah.”
27:48 Immediately
one of them ran and got a sponge, filled it with sour wine,
put it on a stick,
and gave it to him to drink.
27:49 But the rest said, “Leave him alone! Let’s see if Elijah will come to save him.”
Malachi 4:5-6
4:5 Look, I will send you Elijah
the prophet before the great and terrible day of the
Lord arrives.
4:6 He will encourage fathers and their children to return to me,
so that I will not come and strike the earth with judgment.”

9:11 Then they asked him, “Why do the experts in the law say that Elijah must come first?”

“Are you the Prophet?”
