The Parable of the Tenants
21:33 “Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a fence around it, dug a pit for its winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went on a journey.
Jude 1:12-13
1:12 These men are
dangerous reefs
at your love feasts,
feasting without reverence,
feeding only themselves.
They are
waterless
clouds, carried along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit
– twice dead,
uprooted;
1:13 wild sea waves,
spewing out the foam of
their shame;
wayward stars
for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness
have been reserved.
Isaiah 28:10
28:10 Indeed, they will hear meaningless gibberish,
senseless babbling,
a syllable here, a syllable there.

28:13 So the Lord’s word to them will sound like
meaningless gibberish,
senseless babbling,
a syllable here, a syllable there.
As a result, they will fall on their backsides when they try to walk,
and be injured, ensnared, and captured.
