Matthew 26:39
26:39 Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed,
“My Father, if possible,
let this cup
pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Matthew 26:42
26:42 He went away a second time and prayed,
“My Father, if this cup
cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will must be done.”

Matthew 26:1
The Plot Against Jesus
26:1 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,
Matthew 8:26
8:26 But
he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked
the winds and the sea,
and it was dead calm.
Daniel 9:18-19
9:18 Listen attentively,
my God, and hear! Open your eyes and look on our desolated ruins
and the city called by your name.
For it is not because of our own righteous deeds that we are praying to you,
but because your compassion is abundant.
9:19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Don’t delay, for your own sake, O my God! For your city and your people are called by your name.”
