Matthew 4:23-24
Jesus’ Healing Ministry
4:23 Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of disease and sickness among the people.
4:24 So a report about him spread throughout Syria. People brought to him all who suffered with various illnesses and afflictions, those who had seizures, paralytics, and those possessed by demons, and he healed them.
Matthew 11:1
11:1 When Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.
Matthew 11:5
11:5 The blind see, the
lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.
Mark 1:32-39
1:32 When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick and demon-possessed.
1:33 The whole town gathered by the door.
1:34 So
he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons.
But
he would not permit the demons to speak,
because they knew him.
Praying and Preaching
1:35 Then Jesus got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer.
1:36 Simon and his companions searched for him.
1:37 When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”
1:38 He replied, “Let us go elsewhere, into the surrounding villages, so that I can preach there too. For that is what I came out here to do.”
1:39 So he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.
Mark 6:6
6:6 And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then
he went around among the villages and taught.
Mark 6:56
6:56 And wherever he would go – into villages, towns, or countryside – they would place the sick in the marketplaces, and would ask him if
they could just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
Luke 4:43-44
4:43 But Jesus
said to them, “I must
proclaim the good news of the kingdom
of God to the other towns
too, for that is what I was sent
to do.”
4:44 So
he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.

went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil,
because God was with him.
