Matthew 13:31-32
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
13:31 He gave them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.
13:32 It is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest garden plant and becomes a tree, so that the wild birds come and nest in its branches.”
Matthew 17:20
17:20 He told them, “It was because of your little faith. I tell you the truth,
if you have faith the size of
a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; nothing
will be impossible for you.”
Mark 4:31-32
4:31 It is like a mustard seed
that when sown in the ground, even though it is the smallest of all the seeds in the ground –
4:32 when it is sown, it grows up,
becomes the greatest of all garden plants, and grows large branches so that the wild birds
can nest in its shade.”
