13:54 Then he came to his hometown and began to teach the people in their synagogue. They were astonished and said, “Where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?
Mark 6:2-3
6:2 When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue. Many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did he get these ideas? And what is this wisdom that has been given to him? What are these miracles that are done through his hands?
6:3 Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us?” And so they took offense at him.
Luke 4:22
4:22 All were speaking well of him, and were amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth. They said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

2:7 Completely baffled, they said, “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?
2:8 And how is it that each one of us hears them in our own native language?

2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene, and visitors from Rome,
2:11 both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs – we hear them speaking in our own languages about the great deeds God has done!”
2:12 All were astounded and greatly confused, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”
2:13 But others jeered at the speakers, saying, “They are drunk on new wine!”
Acts 4:11-12
4:11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, that has become the cornerstone.
