Matthew 18:15-17
Restoring Christian Relationships
18:15 “If your brother sins, go and show him his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have regained your brother.
18:16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.
18:17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to listen to the church, treat him like a Gentile or a tax collector.
Acts 18:14-15
18:14 But just as Paul was about to speak,
Gallio said to the Jews, “If it were a matter of some crime or serious piece of villainy,
I would have been justified in accepting the complaint
of you Jews,
18:15 but since it concerns points of disagreement
about words and names and your own law, settle
it yourselves. I will not be
a judge of these things!”
Acts 19:38
19:38 If then Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a complaint
against someone, the courts are open
and there are proconsuls; let them bring charges against one another there.
