Matthew 22:24-28
22:24 “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and father children for his brother.’
22:25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother.
22:26 The second did the same, and the third, down to the seventh.
22:27 Last of all, the woman died.
22:28 In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had married her.”
Mark 12:19-23
12:19 “Teacher, Moses wrote for us: ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, that man must marry the widow and father children for his brother.’
12:20 There were seven brothers. The first one married, and when he died he had no children.
12:21 The second married her and died without any children, and likewise the third.
12:22 None of the seven had children. Finally, the woman died too.
12:23 In the resurrection, when they rise again, whose wife will she be? For all seven had married her.”
