Numbers 15:14-16
15:14 If a resident foreigner is living
with you – or whoever is among you
in future generations
– and prepares an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the
Lord, he must do it the same way you are to do it.
15:15 One statute must apply
to you who belong to the congregation and to the resident foreigner who is living among you, as a permanent
statute for your future generations. You and the resident foreigner will be alike
before the
Lord.
15:16 One law and one custom must apply to you and to the resident foreigner who lives alongside you.’”
Numbers 16:40
16:40 It was a memorial for the Israelites, that no outsider who is not a descendant of
Aaron should approach to burn incense before the
Lord, that he might not become like Korah and his company – just as the
Lord had spoken by the authority
of Moses.
Ezra 6:8-10
6:8 “I also hereby issue orders as to what you are to do with those elders of the Jews in order to rebuild this temple of God. From the royal treasury, from the taxes of Trans-Euphrates the complete costs are to be given to these men, so that there may be no interruption of the work.
6:9 Whatever is needed – whether oxen or rams or lambs or burnt offerings for the God of heaven or wheat or salt or wine or oil, as required by the priests who are in Jerusalem – must be given to them daily without any neglect,
6:10 so that they may be offering incense to the God of heaven and may be praying for the good fortune of the king and his family.
