Numbers 16:3
16:3 And they assembled against Moses and Aaron, saying to them, “You take too much upon yourselves,
seeing that the whole community is holy, every one of them, and the
Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the community of the
Lord?”
Numbers 16:2
16:2 and rebelled against Moses, along with some of the Israelites, 250 leaders
of the community, chosen from the assembly,
famous men.

Jeremiah 37:13-14

37:14 Jeremiah answered, “That’s a lie! I am not deserting to the Babylonians.”
But Irijah would not listen to him. Irijah put Jeremiah under arrest and took him to the officials.
Jeremiah 38:4
38:4 So these officials said to the king, “This man must be put to death. For he is demoralizing
the soldiers who are left in the city as well as all the other people there by these things he is saying.
This
man is not seeking to help these people but is trying to harm them.”
Jeremiah 43:3
