Numbers 4:15-16
4:15 “When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is ready to journey, then the Kohathites will come to carry them; but they must not touch any holy thing, or they will die. These are the responsibilities of the Kohathites with the tent of meeting.
4:16 “The appointed responsibility of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is for the oil for the light, and the spiced incense, and the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil; he also has the appointed responsibility over all the tabernacle with all that is in it, over the sanctuary and over all its furnishings.”
Numbers 5:19
5:19 Then the priest will put the woman under oath and say to the her, “If no other
man has had sexual relations with you, and if you have not gone astray and become defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be free from this bitter water that brings a curse.

Numbers 7:89
7:89 Now when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the atonement lid that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. Thus he spoke to him.
Numbers 8:19
8:19 I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the Israelites, to do the work for the Israelites in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the Israelites, so there will be no plague among the Israelites when the Israelites come near the sanctuary.”
Numbers 16:9
16:9 Does it seem too small a thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the community of Israel to bring you near to himself, to perform the service of the tabernacle of the
Lord, and to stand before the community to minister to them?
Numbers 16:30
16:30 But if the
Lord does something entirely new,
and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up
along with all that they have, and they
go down alive to the grave,
then you will know that these men have despised the
Lord!”
Numbers 18:1
Responsibilities of the Priests
18:1 The Lord said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your tribe with you must bear the iniquity of the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you must bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
Numbers 19:18
19:18 Then a ceremonially clean person must take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all its furnishings, and on the people who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, or one killed, or one who died, or a grave.
Numbers 19:20
19:20 But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person must be cut off from among the community, because he has polluted the sanctuary of the
Lord; the water of purification was not sprinkled on him, so he is unclean.
Numbers 27:21
27:21 And he will stand before Eleazar the priest, who
will seek counsel
for him before the
Lord by the decision of the Urim.
At his command
they will go out, and at his command they will come in, he and all the Israelites with him, the whole community.”
