Psalms 21:1-2
Psalm 21
For the music director; a psalm of David.
21:1 O Lord, the king rejoices in the strength you give;
he takes great delight in the deliverance you provide.
21:2 You grant him his heart’s desire;
you do not refuse his request. (Selah)
The Song of Songs 3:4
3:4 Scarcely had I passed them by
when I found my beloved!
I held onto him tightly and would not let him go
until I brought him to my mother’s house,
to the bedroom chamber of the one who conceived me.
The Song of Songs 3:2
3:2 “I will arise and look all around throughout the town,
and throughout the streets and squares;
I will search for my beloved.”
I searched for him but I did not find him.
The Song of Songs 4:7-8
4:7 You are altogether beautiful, my darling!
There is no blemish in you!
The Wedding Night: Beautiful as Lebanon
4:8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride,
come with me from Lebanon.
Descend from the crest of Amana,
from the top of Senir, the summit of Hermon,
from the lions’ dens
and the mountain haunts of the leopards.
Revelation 7:14-17
7:14 So
I said to him, “My lord, you know the answer.”
Then
he said to me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They
have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!
7:15 For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve
him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them.
7:16 They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat,
7:17 because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
