Proverbs 16:10-13

16:10 The divine verdict is in the words of the king,

his pronouncements must not act treacherously against justice.

16:11 Honest scales and balances are from the Lord;

all the weights in the bag are his handiwork.

16:12 Doing wickedness is an abomination to kings,

because a throne is established in righteousness.

16:13 The delight of kings is righteous counsel,

and they love the one who speaks uprightly.

Proverbs 29:12

29:12 If a ruler listens to lies,

all his ministers will be wicked.

Proverbs 29:2

29:2 When the righteous become numerous, the people rejoice;

when the wicked rule, the people groan.

Proverbs 23:3

23:3 Do not crave that ruler’s delicacies,

for that food is deceptive.

Job 34:12

34:12 Indeed, in truth, God does not act wickedly,

and the Almighty does not pervert justice.

Psalms 101:3-5

101:3 I will not even consider doing what is dishonest.

I hate doing evil;

I will have no part of it.

101:4 I will have nothing to do with a perverse person;

I will not permit evil.
