Psalms 107:25-29
107:25 He gave the order for a windstorm,
and it stirred up the waves of the sea.
107:26 They reached up to the sky,
then dropped into the depths.
The sailors’ strength left them because the danger was so great.
107:27 They swayed and staggered like a drunk,
and all their skill proved ineffective.
107:28 They cried out to the Lord in their distress;
he delivered them from their troubles.
107:29 He calmed the storm,
and the waves grew silent.

Amos 4:13
4:13 For here he is!

Matthew 8:24-27
8:24 And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep.
8:25 So they came
and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!”
8:26 But
he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked
the winds and the sea,
and it was dead calm.
8:27 And the men
were amazed and said,
“What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”
