11:6 May the Lord rain down burning coals and brimstone on the wicked!

A whirlwind is what they deserve!

many lightning bolts and routed them.

21:9 You burn them up like a fiery furnace when you appear;

the Lord angrily devours them;

the fire consumes them.

120:4 Here’s how! With the sharp arrows of warriors,

with arrowheads forged over the hot coals.

Genesis 19:24

19:24 Then the Lord rained down sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. It was sent down from the sky by the Lord.

Exodus 9:23-24

9:23 When Moses extended his staff toward the sky, the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire fell to the earth; so the Lord caused hail to rain down on the land of Egypt. 9:24 Hail fell and fire mingled with the hail; the hail was so severe that there had not been any like it in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

Revelation 16:8-9

16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people with fire. 16:9 Thus people were scorched by the terrible heat, yet they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authority over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.
