3:2 Many say about me,
“God will not deliver him.” (Selah)
Psalms 37:25
37:25 I was once young, now I am old.
I have never seen a godly man abandoned,
or his children forced to search for food.
Psalms 37:28
37:28 For the Lord promotes justice,
and never abandons his faithful followers.
They are permanently secure,
but the children of evil men are wiped out.
Psalms 41:7-8
41:7 All who hate me whisper insults about me to one another;
they plan ways to harm me.
41:8 They say,
‘An awful disease overwhelms him,
and now that he is bed-ridden he will never recover.’

42:10 My enemies’ taunts cut into me to the bone,
as they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
Matthew 27:42-43
27:42 “He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down

e trusts in God – let God, if he wants to, deliver him now because he said, ‘I am God’s Son’!”

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
