9:1 I am telling the truth in Christ (I am not lying!), for my conscience assures me in the Holy Spirit –

by taking on the form of a slave,

by looking like other men,

by becoming obedient to the point of death

– even death on a cross!

2:9 As a result God exalted him

and gave him the name

that is above every name,

2:10 so that at the name of Jesus

every knee will bow

– in heaven and on earth and under the earth –
