The Song of Songs 3:3-4
3:3 The night watchmen found me – the ones who guard the city walls.
“Have you seen my beloved?”
3:4 Scarcely had I passed them by
when I found my beloved!
I held onto him tightly and would not let him go
until I brought him to my mother’s house,
to the bedroom chamber of the one who conceived me.
Luke 7:38
7:38 As
she stood
behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. She
wiped them with her hair,
kissed
them,
and anointed
them with the perfumed oil.
John 12:3
12:3 Then Mary took three quarters of a pound
of expensive aromatic oil from pure nard
and anointed the feet of Jesus. She
then wiped his feet dry with her hair. (Now the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfumed oil.)
John 20:17
20:17 Jesus replied,
“Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Revelation 3:9
3:9 Listen!
I am going to make those people from the synagogue
of Satan – who say they are Jews yet
are not, but are lying – Look, I will make
them come and bow down
at your feet and acknowledge
that I have loved you.
