The Song of Songs 4:13-14
4:13 Your shoots are a royal garden full of pomegranates
with choice fruits:
henna with nard,
4:14 nard and saffron;
calamus and cinnamon with every kind of spice,
myrrh and aloes with all the finest spices.
The Song of Songs 5:5
5:5 I arose to open for my beloved;
my hands dripped with myrrh –
my fingers flowed with myrrh
on the handles of the lock.
Luke 7:37-38
7:37 Then
when a woman of that town, who was a sinner, learned that Jesus
was dining
at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar
of perfumed oil.
7:38 As
she stood
behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. She
wiped them with her hair,
kissed
them,
and anointed
them with the perfumed oil.
