Divisions in the Church

1:10 I urge you, brothers and sisters, ¹  by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, ²  to end your divisions, ³  and to be united by the same mind and purpose. ⁴  1:11 For members of Chloe’s household have made it clear to me, my brothers and sisters, ⁵  that there are quarrels ⁶  among you. 1:12 Now I mean this, that ⁷  each of you is saying, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” or “I am with Cephas,” or “I am with Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:3

3:3 for you are still influenced by the flesh. ⁸  For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people? ⁹ 

John 17:21-26

17:21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray ¹⁰  that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. 17:22 The glory ¹¹  you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one – 17:23 I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one, ¹²  so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

17:24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, ¹³  so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world ¹⁴ . 17:25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these men ¹⁵  know that you sent me. 17:26 I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known, ¹⁶  so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.”

John 17:2

17:2 just as you have given him authority over all humanity, ¹⁷  so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. ¹⁸ 

Colossians 1:11
